If thats the case, replacing the fuse or flipping the breaker should fix the problem. If that doesnt work, or if your machine seems to be working normally but just refuses to drain, you could have a problem with a pump, the electrics or a blockage. Regardless of the cause, youre going to want to get the water out of the machine. Take a look at the front of your machine, you may see a small door, if you do, open it. Theres likely a small tube inside which can be pulled out and used to drain the washer. This method of draining is very slow.If your machine doesnt have the type of hose just described, or if youre short on time, you can remove the main drain hose from the U Bend and drain the machine into a large bucket. If you notice water isnt draining, you likely have a blockage in the hose. Such a blockage can be caused by any number of things, small clothing such as a sock, or a lint buildup. If this is the case, remove the hose from the washer (you may need a screwdriver) and try to remove the blockage with a straightened wire coat hanger. At Plumbers Bounds Green, our professionals have the experience and skills to quickly and efficiently diagnose and repair your washing machine problems.
